| Greg Kehl Moore |
| Greg Kehl Moore is currently an assistant professor of music and Jazz Program Director at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. He is active as both a performer and composer having been commissioned by the University of Memphis Jazz Orchestra and the International Association of Jazz Educators. His compositions have also been performed by the Univ. of Texas Jazz Orchestra (with Moore as soloist) and the Univ. of Cincinnati Jazz Ensemble. These included solo performances by jazz greats Bobby Shew and Gary Foster. Greg has been featured with the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra and the Univ. of Wis.-Superior Orchestra. In 1995 he received the Outstanding Improviser Award at the Louisville Jazz Festival. He has a wide variety of experience in jazz and commercial music. Greg received a Master of Music degree from the Univ. of Cincinnati - College Conservatory and completed his Doctor of Music Arts degree from the Univ. of Texas. In 2003 he performed some of his compositions at the World Saxophone Symposium. |
